Part of me thinks this is how Belton keeps section 8 out. They cant afford the water. Wish they had a plan to keep the 30 year old meth heads that ride around on stolen children's bicycles out.
My water bill has gone up over $100 from this time last year. It was $242 this month (September 2017). Absolutely insane.
belton water, I hate the fact that when the bill is due you have to pay right away or pay 10.00 for a grace period, but you have to go into the office to pay the grace period and sign off on it which is really an inconvience when they open im at work and when they close im at work so how the heck are u supposed to get an extension..i cannot wait to get out of belton it sucks
The water bill and sewer bills are ridiculous here in belton. people are just trying to raise their families in a decent place with decent schools with good drinking water. No way a water bill should be 250 dollars a month. Hell we had to go in and get rid of cable just to survive, no way a water bill should be more than an electric bill
I agree. Water and sewer were out of control before the tax increase. Family of 5 averaging between $155-170 a month and dont be a few days late or tack on a $15. I've lived in a lot of places and never have I seen water bills this high..........
The people are great but I have three complaints...water bill, water bill, and water bill. It is incredibly expensive to use water in Belton. It's not just me either, everyone I speak to has the same issue. There must be several hidden taxes rolled up in the water bill coming out of the water department!
