It all started when we went to look at metal siding and the girl told us that they had it in stock all the time no problem. A week later we tore out our shower walls went back to Menards to get on metal come to find out it was special order. So we waited another week and a half for metal to get in without our shower walls. When the metal finally showed up we got at home to find out it was the wrong metal. Not only was it the wrong metal it's an odd size most signing comes 36in Menards is only 24 in which doesn't even give you an inch overlap the seal out any water intrusion. Then they told me it was going to be another week before I can get any medal siding. So now we're going on three weeks without our shower walls. What a disappointment
They have a wide variety of merchandize and several options for the types of items you are looking for. Their prices are comparable and usually lower than the other stores similar of merchandise.
I am a contractor but I have had extremely wonder experiences here. I did come in to return something and had a question. The lady at the return just kept saying "call the store and they will tell you." I kept thinking, I am at the store, why do I need to call but she obviously didn't know the answer and wasn't willing to help. Other than her, I have had wonderful, helpful experiences here.
Good selection of merchandise and very reasonable prices. However, the forced traffic patterns for shoppers (entry and exit on opposite sides of the store) mean that during inclement weather you WILL get wet, either when you arrive or when you leave. Even more of a problem if you are disabled since those parking spots are all on the entry side.
Helpful and friendly staff. They always make eye contact and ask if they can help and will walk you over to where it is.
Customer service is starting to lack. It will be a while before I will go back because I'd rather spend my money at places that are appreciative.
