Both of my dogs (ages 5 and 1.5) have been going there since they were puppies. I love the staff and their wellness plan is fantastic. I bring them in every 6 months for check ups, everything is taken care of and they stay up to date with their shots. My dogs are happy and healthy and they have never tried to push something on me that I wasn't comfortable with.
My Kitten was lethargic but my vet couldn't see him for 4 days. I took him to this Banfield and they charged me 300.00 for flea meds and ear mite meds neither of which he had. They also wanted to take a chest X-ray for 200.00 more but We refused. 4 days later We took him to his regular vet and he had FIV and was euthanized. AS if that wasn't bad enough I attempted to tell the desk help and she was very rude, didn't care asked me "What's your point" "What am I suppose to do about it" Then got up and walked into the back. Thru tear filled eyes I just wanted his name off there list of clients. Never take your pet here.
I took my cat here months ago and am still kicking myself for it. They will try to perform every test under the sun on your animal and make you feel worthless if you can't afford it, all while trying to push their stupid wellness plan on you. I spent $600 (that doesn't include all the tests they wanted me to do and I refused) so that they could tell me my cat had a food allergy.
There are plenty of other good vets in the area that aren't nearly so hostile. Don't give these people your money.
Horrible experience did a lot of tests on my dog "could find anything" keeps adding more and more to my bill, didn't find anything on him but the dog is getting worst and worst to the point that this morning he was throwing up blood, called them back they saying everybody is on lunch!! Are you serious????? They are so expensive and not worth it. My dog might not make it and he couldn't even get proper assistance. Don't take your pet there!
They are the most caring people that I've ever trusted my dog to, and I've been seeing them for about two years now. I've never been charged ANYTHING without it first being explained to me and then approving it, I've never had anything pushed on me, and I'm a recent college graduate, so I'm on a budget. If someone feels like it is "pushy" for a DOCTOR of Veterinary Medicine to do their job and thoroughly examine an animal to ensure that they are well, then this is not the place for you. If a stranger has the power to make you feel bad about your pet, or force you to spend money that's not in your budget, then you need a therapist, not a new veterinarian. They are thorough, they know what they are doing, and they don't make guesses. They figure out what is wrong the first time. If you want a cheap place that will do the bare minimum, then go somewhere else. If your animals mean everything to you and you want them to have a long life and quality care, then come here.
