I have taken my animals (3 cats, 2 dogs) to this clinic for the last 13 years, and even though I am moving 30 minutes away, I will likely continue to do so for appointments and non-emergencies. I only board my dogs for 2-3 days tops, but their boarding rates are excellent. When I call or visit, they know my animals by name and by sight, and my dog is excited to be there even for boarding. In this case, going to the vet is not punishment. All rates are very reasonable, and every person on staff has a clear concern for my pets. I will say that there was one visit in all of 13 years that I felt the employee was out of line, but I've never seen that person there since, so clearly that was resolved in short order.
Both of our dogs have always gone here and they are the absolute BEST! This staff genuinely loves your furbabies as much as you do. The way they hold them, calm them and kiss all over them is just the sweetest thing in the world and makes me feel 100% confident leaving my babies in their care. Quality people = quality care! Highly recommend.
Its the best around. My pets love them. Always excited to see the technicians and doctors.
Well I would like to start by saying that I took my kitten this vets office when she was about eight weeks old to get shots and an examination. I was told by the doctor that my kitten was female. I then took my kitten back the next day because she became ill after being seen at the vet the previous day. She was medicated and treated appropriately and sent back home with me. I took her in for her second set of shots and everything was seemingly fine with that visit and she was still a female on that visit. I took her in yesterday to get spayed, declawed, and microchiped. I get a call that afternoon saying that they opened her up and couldn’t find a uterus that my cat was really a boy. So now my kitten has been surgically opened for no reason and now has stitches that have to be monitored and removed when the surgery that was performed was not even necessary in the first place. I go to pick my kitten up and they bring my kitten out to me in the wrong cat box. I have extreme concern with the vets office that can’t tell a female kitten from a male kitten at 5 1/2 months old and preform unnecessary procedures especially without first verifying the sex. I will no longer be taking my cat or my dog to this vets office. I will be finding a place to have her stitches removed elsewhere and to get competent treatment for her. In addition, there was no sort of damage control done to alleviate my concerns or even an apology for the inappropriate care that my kitten received. All the vet said was that she wish she hadn’t done that.
